His dual perspective helps SETL stay grounded in real challenges while pushing for smarter, greener solutions in school estates.

Founder of Beanstalk HR, Yvette supports organisations of all sizes - helping them build HR functions from scratch or revamping their existing systems; managing complex employee relations cases; training and coaching managers; creating people strategies and nurturing workplace cultures for sustainable growth.

Advisory Board Member

Simon is the Trust Estate Lead at Arete Learning Trust, overseeing 11 schools across North Yorkshire. He leads on capital works, compliance, health and safety, and sustainability, ensuring every site runs safely and efficiently.

Simon plays a key role in driving decarbonisation and developing estates staff in line with DfE competency frameworks, allowing school leaders to focus fully on teaching and learning.
